Not only did Dan & I have a wonderful first year of marriage, but we also have had a wonderful 1st Anniversary.
I got these flowers form Dan earlier in the week. It was a great surprize.
We had a fun filled weekend planned. We started with seeing Gran Torino in Grandville. It wasn't the most romantic movie, but we both thought it was a terrific. After the movie I was able to sneak in some shopping before we made our way back to the place where our marriage began, the Amway Grand Plaza.
It brought back great memories being there. We even visited the room where we got married and the ballroom where we had our reception.
We ate at Cygnus 27 located on the 27th floor of the Amway. We highly recommend it. It was spectacular! Great food, fabulous view, and fun atmosphere.

And it didn't end there. They brought out a champagne toast for us and chocolate fondue to finish off the meal.
Today we enjoyed a lovely brunch at Charlie's Crab. We ate almost everything. Salad, stuffed french toast, crab legs, and many plates of dessert.

Here I am with some crab legs. Dan was nervous that I would pull a "Pretty Woman" and end up flinging something across the dining room of this resturatant.
And here is Dan with his second plate of dessert. It was a memorable weekend.

you guys are too cute and it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. i love that picture of you breaking into the crab, we look like that every christmas evening when my parents make our annual surf and turf dinner! so funny!
Congrats! Looks like you guys had fun. I am jealous:). Your one year isn't officially until next month, right? Or am I totally losing it:)?
